Chorus Secures Two Acquisitions
Birmingham-based security provider expands with two area acquisitions Birmingham, Alabama – December 2, 2021 – Chorus SmartSecure, a local security and SmartHome provider, announced today the acquisition of two Birmingham-area security companies, making it one of the fastest-growing security providers in the Southeast.
Gem Alarm Systems of Alton, AL and OnGuard Security of Birmingham were acquired on November 12 and November 30, respectively. The acquisition makes the third in less than 12 months for Chorus, who acquired Southeast Alarm in December of 2020. This rapid growth has been fueled its capital partner Key 7 Investment Company, a private equity firm that emerged from the sale of Wayne’s Pest Control in 2019.
